  • Fukamushi Sencha (Deep-steamed Sencha)
    • Tea Information: Sencha is one of the most popular Japanese teas. It accounts for about two-thirds of all tea made in Japan. Our sencha is grown 100% in the sun (unshaded) and are made from first picking in spring. Fukamushi Sencha is created by steaming the green teas longer than usual sencha - deep steamed.
    • Tasting notes: Seaweed, vegetal, umami
    • Brewing Notes: steep for 2 minutes at 80°C. 1g/100ml
  • Genmaicha
    • Tea Information: In Japan teas are mostly enjoyed pure, not flavoured. Genmaicha is one of the very few exceptions to this rule. It is usually created by mixing Bancha / Sencha tea leaves with roasted rice.
    • Tasting notes: Vegetal, roasted, popcorn
    • Brewing Notes: steep for 3 minutes at 80°C. 1g/100ml
  • Matcha Genmaicha (also known as Matcha-iri-Genmaicha)
    • Tea Information: A variation of Genmaicha where Matcha powder is mixed in to provide a stronger colour and taste than regular Genmaicha.
    • Tasting notes: Vegetal. roasted, umami
    • Brewing Notes: steep for 3 minutes at 80°C. 1g/100ml
  • Gyokuro (also known as Jade Dew)
    • Tea Information: Gyokuro is known as the highest grade of Japanese green tea. It's leaves are grown in shade for about 3 weeks before harvest and they are harvested annually in early spring.
    • Tasting notes: Sweet, vegetal, seaweed, miso, umami
    • Brewing Notes: steep for 2-3 minutes at 80°C. 1g/100ml
  • Hojicha
    • Tea Information: Hojicha is made by roasting or pan frying Bancha (or sometimes sencha). Tea leaves are roasted over high heat to give new roasted flavours and aroma. It is known for low amounts of caffeine due to roasting of the leaves.
    • Tasting notes: Caramel, toasty, toasty, malty
    • Brewing Notes: steep for 3 minutes at 90°C. 1g/100ml
  • Kukicha
    • Tea Information: Kukicha is a common but unusual Japanese tea as it is made from stems rather than the leaves. It is extremely wonderful tea on its own right with lighter taste which makes it an easy and all day tea option.
    • Tasting notes: Nutty
    • Brewing Notes: steep for 3 minutes at 85-90°C. 1g/100ml
